Bareilly is a city that is located in the Bareilly district of the state of Uttar Pardesh. It is one of the main cities in the state and is a commercial city as well. The city is known for its many temples and there are many religious sites which are located all around the city. There are four main Shiva Temples that are located in the four corners of the city and these are known as Dopeswarnath, Madhinath, Trivatinath and Alaknath. There is a Ganga Temple that is also present in the city and it is worth visiting. Bankey Mandir and Chunne Miyan Mandir are also important temples in the city of Bareilly. Some other religious sites are the Darga Hazrat, the Church of North India, the Christ Methodist Church, Bibi Ji ki Masjid and Sri Sai Mandi. Those who are interested in history can visit the two main museums in the city, and these are the Panchala Museum and the Army Service Corps Museum. The Ramnagar Fort is located around 25 km from the place and it is a popular place to visit as well. The Bareilly Bazaar offers an excellent shopping experience and it worth visiting. There are two amusement parks in Bareilly as well.
